MERLOT/ Tasting Notes: Our Merlot is a medium-bodied wine that brims with fruit flavors of cherry and plum accented with a touch of spice. With a smooth texture and bright, clean finish, this wine pairs with a wide range of foods from hamburgers to pizza with red sauce. Production Notes: To craft our rich Merlot, fully ripened grapes from Lodi and North Valley are crushed and compelled over six times daily during fermentation to maximize the rich fruit flavors and deep color. This wine is blended with Petite Verdot to enhance berry flavors and aromas.
